Families Together

Families Together provides parent-child transitional housing and offers single-parent families experiencing homelessness a safe and stable living environment while they work to overcome the crisis that led to their homelessness and return to independent living. Short-term, basic and therapeutic services in safe residential care are provided to maintain the family unit, promote and encourage family independence, and promote and encourage long-term self-sufficiency and family stability.

Summit Program

This is an innovative crisis stabilization and respite program designed to serve youth, ages 10-17. This program provides youth who are experiencing crisis with acute mental health assessment and stabilization within a pleasant and home-like residential environment. The goal of the program is to prevent further deterioration or the need for hospitalization or out-of-home-placement youth that do not meet the criteria for inpatient hospitalization. In addition, the program works to promote family stability by providing a variety of services to meet individualized needs of each family and youth. Each family is provided with referral or connection to aftercare services that will support their ongoing progress. Skill Builder Classes

This program provides one-hour group classes lasting 6 weeks for youth, ages 10-18, and parents of youth up to age 18 needing real-life skills. Topics include Life Skills, Why Try, Anger Management, Theft Prevention and Parenting Wisely. Over 98% success rates using evidence-based curricula.

Turning Point

This crisis intervention, acute stabilization and family preservation program provides foster children and their caregivers with relief and therapeutic interventions that prevent hospitalizations and placement disruptions. Immediate assessment and crisis intervention is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by calling 817.909.1171.

Youth and Family Counseling

Counseling offers real help for youth up to age 18, and their families dealing with real-life issues such as conflict at home, bullying, anger management issues, talk of running away, reckless or criminal behavior, and school attendance or behavior problems. Services are provided at convenient community locations.
