Symposium Information

The Community-Based Child Welfare National Symposium began as a conversation between Embrace Families (Florida) and ACH Child and Family Services (Texas) but has quickly added additional organizations nation-wide in the conversation for this symposium. At last year’s event, we had individuals from 15 states partaking in rich and meaningful conversations. This year’s conversation will focus on adapting to changes as we move past impacts of the pandemic and move into a new era of FFPSA.

Our Vision

Community-Based Care models have shown to be better at addressing the needs of children and families. For those of us involved in these public-private partnerships, we know what is happening in our state, but it is difficult to get information, especially from those in other states, about what is working, what is being learned, new ideas, and how models are maturing. This gathering of like-minded professionals provides the chance to collaborate, share insights and explore what’s possible.
