Individual Volunteer Opportunities

You are Generosity in Action!

ACH Child and Family Services offer a variety of options for individuals seeking to support our agency through volunteering. We have on-campus, off-campus, and online opportunities available throughout the year. Take a look at the opportunities below to see if your interests align with our needs.

Volunteer Mentors

Volunteer mentors participate in biweekly group activities with young adults aging out of foster care in order to establish developmental relationships to support their transition to independence.

Service Commitment and Screening

The level of screening and length of service commitment vary depending on the specific volunteer opportunity. Generally speaking volunteers who interact with ACH’s children, youth, and families on a regular basis are required to undergo a thorough screening process that includes an in-person interview, criminal and abuse/neglect history check, drugs screen, and TB test.
