Foster Care Redesign

Foster Care Redesign is working in Texas. And it’s vital for our children that it continues.

Foster Care Redesign is a model designed to improve foster care in Texas. This community-based approach to care brings a better approach to meeting the complex needs of abused and neglected children.  By focusing on targeted foster parent recruitment, accountability for specific goals and innovative approaches, significant system improvements have been made in Region 3b, which includes Erath, Hood, Johnson, Palo Pinto, Parker, Somervell and Tarrant counties.

Our Progress Report shares more information in detail on the background, implementation and economic benefits of Foster Care Redesign. To help make this plan a reality throughout Texas, write your local representatives and share your support for Foster Care Redesign on social media!
