get involved as a group
Volunteer groups are a vital support system for ACH Child and Family Services throughout the year. Our group volunteers outnumber of individual volunteers by 10:1. A group typically consist of two or more people and may allow for the participation of minors (under 17) with consent from a parent or guardian. If minors participate, an adult must be present during service. Some service options are not suitable for minors. See below for more information.
Each year, ACH hosts a Spring and Fall Campus Cleanup for both our Wichita and Wedgwood campuses. These events typically involve at least 40 volunteers and help to provide general cleanup, both inside and out. The event takes places between 9 am - 4 pm, on select dates. Supper club program
Volunteers can schedule to bring a healthy-sized portioned meal to support kids and families in the care of ACH Child and Family Services. A supper club is a simple way for volunteers to give back without much effort. If you are interested in making a difference, even in the smallest of ways, then this opportunity is right for you! preparing for service
Groups should contact Volunteer Services to schedule an activity or event before arriving to campus. If inquiring about an activity or event that is not scheduled, scheduling for groups will be based on current agency needs and should be done at least two weeks in advance. Group volunteers planning to participate should complete the necessary volunteer forms before service. Click below to complete necessary volunteer forms.
