Melissa Opheim has dedicated her career to serving children and families. She has worked 37 years in some of Texas’ finest child and family serving organizations. Melissa provides leadership to ACH’s Quality Assurance and Public Grants and Contracts teams who provide support to the dedicated individuals who work daily to serve children and families through their roles at ACH Child and Family Services.

Melissa holds a bachelor’s degree in social work from Texas Tech University, a master’s degree in educational psychology from Texas Tech University, and a master’s degree in nonprofit administration from Notre Dame University. She is recognized by the State of Texas as a Licensed Social Worker, Licensed Professional Counselor, a Licensed Child Care Administrator, and a Licensed Child Placing Administrator. She also serves on the Texas Health and Human Services Partners for Children and Families Contract Oversight and Regulatory Subcommittee and on the Regulation Committee with the Texas Alliance of Child and Family Services.
