Thursday, Dec. 1 – Friday, Dec. 2
Help decorate the ACH campus for Christmas! This includes picking up Christmas trees and décor from our storage area and dropping them off at our residential program buildings so they can have a tree trimming party! Requires lifting fully assembled, artificial trees and bins of decor. We are grateful for volunteers who have trucks.

Tues. & Thurs., Dec. 1 – Dec. 15 from 3 to 5 pm
Donate homemade or store-bought Christmas-themed cookies and/or sweet treats of all kinds for our children and families to help spread a bit of holiday cheer at ACH. We can never have enough cookies. All treats will be distributed to our kids and families by ACH staff only. Opportunities for tours may be available when you drop off your sweet confections; please request in advance.
Must have a valid food handler’s card.
Monday, Dec. 5 – Wednesday, Dec. 7
Help receive, unpack, and inventory gifts. Sort gifts by ACH program. Move gifts from the Training Room to the Great Hall during the afternoon shift on the 8th. Register for volunteer shifts in advance to secure desired shifts or times.

Thursday, Dec. 8 – Friday, Dec. 9
Sort, organize, set-up, and inventory gifts. Knowledge of what toys and gifts are best suited for specific children’s ages may be needed.

Saturday, Dec. 10
Help our program staff with our holiday Christmas party for children in the foster care system and for children and their adopted families. The party will included food, activities, and gifts for the kids.

Monday, Dec. 12 – Tuesday, Dec. 13
Help wrap gifts for our kids and keep Christmas Toyland organized. Register for volunteer shifts in advance to secure desired shifts or times.

Wednesday, Dec. 14 – Friday, Dec. 16
Assist program staff shop and pack-up gifts for our children and families. We are grateful for volunteers who have trucks and are willing to deliver to partner agencies.

Tuesday, Jan. 3 – Wednesday, Jan. 4
Assist with restoring the campus by to get things back in order after the Christmas season. This includes removing and packing decorations, taking down trees, clearing trash and ensuring a clean and orderly campus for our children and families.
