Every April, during Child Abuse Prevention Month, the Lend a Hand luncheon helps to raise awareness and inspire advocacy for Tarrant County’s 5,332 victims of child abuse and neglect. We thank our moderator, Fort Worth Mayor Mattie Parker, and panelists from the organizations below for discussing the growing number (triple since 2015) of children and youth suffering from extreme aggression or complex developmental needs–and even at risk of suicide.
