Learn how our community is addressing child abuse.

April is Child Abuse Prevention Month. The Lend a Hand Luncheon is aimed at bringing about awareness and advocacy for abused and neglected children. During 2022 in North Texas there were over 20,000 confirmed child abuse or neglect victims. 5,506 of those children were right here in Tarrant County. In fact, Tarrant County has among the highest numbers of confirmed child abuse and neglect cases of any county in Texas.

Child Abuse Prevention is everyone’s responsibility, and we want more people to understand how important this issue is to our community. Panelists will participate in a discussion on how these organizations are working together to address the needs of children in Tarrant County.

Supporters can commit to learning more and taking action. Have a Heart and Lend a Hand to help us bring awareness to this important cause.
