Kinship Navigator Program

Menu

The Kinship Navigator Program benefits kinship families, such as fictive kin and siblings, who are raising grandchildren, nieces or nephews in Tarrant, Parker, Palo Pinto, Johnson and Hill Counties. The program provides resource navigation, basic needs support, peer support and one-on-one strength-based case management.

What Is Kinship Navigator?

Kinship Navigator is for families outside the child welfare system who are caring for a relative’s child(ren).

The program offers outreach, education, and support for these families. Our staff will work to provide meaningful engagement, help, and connection to resources that may be needed, including food, clothing, and legal aid.

Kinship Navigator helps keep children from entering the foster care system.

We are committed to always thinking family first.

Meet the Gomez Family

With support from two of ACH’s programs — Kinship Navigator and Real Help for Real Life — Michal Gomez found the strength to rebuild her family and create a safe, loving home for her children.

Her journey is a powerful reminder of how hope and healing begin with support.
